Media Partnerships
The Agape Table views media as another impactful avenue of storytelling that leads to heart change and then societal change. A film screening may persuade someone to be more compassionate towards the queer community, as it humanizes the stories of those who are mistreated and misrepresented. An art gallery that lifts up the power and beauty of black queer humans may encourage someone to confront the intersections of racial and gender justice.
Through meaningful partnerships with film companies, local theatres, community artists, etc. we are able to reach a broader audience with the message of equity and inclusion.
Past media partnerships include:
- Film Screening of Pray Away
- Film Screening of For The Bible Tells Me So
- At the Wake of a Dead Drag Queen with Trustus Theatre
